What Needs Clearing (That No One Sees)

The Weekly Reset

Practical encouragement for calm, clear, and sustainable leadership.

Spring Cleaning Your Heart

We spend so much time in the spring cleaning out our homes, closets, and offices…

But we often forget one of the most important places to check in: our hearts.

Spring cleaning tends to focus on what’s visible.
But what’s happening internally matters just as much, if not more.

This week, I want to encourage you to take just 15 minutes to pause and check in with yourself.

Ask yourself:

  • What am I feeling right now?
  • What areas of my life are bringing stress and overwhelm?
  • What areas are bringing joy and peace?

Sit with your answers. Don’t rush past them. Don’t be afraid of what comes up.

Then gently ask:

  • Do I need to adjust my schedule or daily rhythm?
  • Is this stress temporary… or something I need to address more intentionally?
  • Is there something I need to release, or something I need to learn to navigate differently?
  • Can I create more space for what brings me peace?

This isn’t about overhauling your life overnight.
It’s about becoming aware, and making small, meaningful shifts.

What Are You Letting In?

Spring cleaning isn’t just about what we remove, it’s also about what we allow in.

Are you filling your heart with things that restore you?

  • Are you getting enough sleep?
  • Nourishing your body well?
  • Moving in ways that feel good?
  • Making time for prayer, quiet, or reflection?

What you put in matters just as much as what you clear out.

Simple Ways to Lean Into the Season

1.Host an Easter Gathering

Whether it’s an egg hunt, a potluck, or a simple meal, this is a beautiful time to gather and connect. It doesn’t have to be elaborate, just intentional.

2. Take Advantage of “No Housework Day” (April 7)

Your home will be okay if you step away for a day.
Use that time to do something that fills you up instead.

Things I'm Loving

  1. Did you know many insurance plans cover access to a registered dietitian?I recently started working with one through Nourish, and I’ve been so impressed. I was able to spend nearly an hour on a video call focused on my specific goals, and it was completely covered. If improving your health is on your heart, it might be worth checking what your insurance offers.
  2. Warmer weather always puts me in the mood for fresh, simple meals. I still use the acacia salad bowl I received as a wedding gift 8 years ago, and it never fails to get compliments. I recently made a salad in it that was a hit… even with the non-salad, non-kale lovers 😊If you’re looking to refresh your meals this season, this might be a fun place to start.
A Thought to Carry With You
“You don’t have to fix everything.
Just start by paying attention.
Clear a little space.
Add a little more of what brings life.
That’s where real renewal begins."

From Feeling to Focus: A Weekly Reflection Journal

It’s designed to help you process what you’re feeling, refocus your energy, and move forward with clarity, without overwhelm.

Because awareness is powerful… but having a place to process it makes all the difference. Download it here

“Search me, God, and know my heart… See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” — Psalm 139:23–24

Sometimes the most meaningful growth doesn’t come from doing more…
It comes from slowing down long enough to notice what’s been sitting beneath the surface.

You don’t have to carry everything into the next season.

You’re allowed to release, reset, and move forward with peace.

Cheering you on,

The Weekly Reset Practical encouragement for calm, clear, and sustainable leadership. Reclaiming Your Voice Last week, we released pressure. This week, we take the next step: we begin using our voice again. As an introvert, this is something I am constantly challenging myself to grow in. There are still moments when I don’t take the step of faith to speak up, and honestly, I usually regret staying quiet. But the times I have spoken up have helped build my confidence and reminded me that I can...

The Weekly Reset Practical encouragement for calm, clear, and sustainable leadership. Confidence Without Hustle May is here, and this month, we’re doing confidence differently. Not louder. Not busier. Not more pressure. Just… steadier. Because somewhere along the way, many of us started believing that confidence had to be earned through productivity, perfection, or proving ourselves. But what if that’s not true? What if confidence isn’t something you chase…but something you return to? This week...

The Weekly Reset Practical encouragement for calm, clear, and sustainable leadership. Clarity Through Reflection What a month April has been. We’ve spent this time focusing on clarity, slowing down, creating space, and learning to listen a little more closely. As we close out the month, I want to invite you into one simple question: What is God highlighting in your life right now? We are approaching the middle of Q2 and already one-third of the way through 2026. This is a perfect time to pause...
